PokerDB - tour

PokerDB is a multi-user system for planning poker tournaments, managing a tournament as it happens, and charting player stats from completed tournaments.

So, the first thing you will want to do is register some players, or have your friends do it themselves:

Next, any user -- maybe you! -- can create a Tournament. In PokerDB, a new tournament is a "proposal" -- that is, you may want to have a game next week, but you're not sure how many people will join. Point potential players to the PokerDB info page for that tournament, and let them decide!

If you are registered as a player in the PokerDB, then you can register. This is what you will see on a page describing the proposed tourney:

It's game night! You're the tournment director, and you've got some geeky new poker software to try out! What can you do? Well, take a look at your control screen for the tourney:

Take that, dominic! Man, I can't believe that guy went all-in with the hammer!

There's other stuff on the control screen, but at the end of the night, you'll end up with something looking like this:

What a victory for pedro! Of course, this total is added into the stats page for all to see.

Oh, no! The tournament is over, and you forgot to use your nifty javascript blinds timer! (You used a kitchen egg timer, someone's watch, or an inferior blinds timer.) Oh well, it will be around for next time. (And it will proably have some more features by then..)
